Crowley Lake features unique regulations, you can inquire at the Crowley Lake Fish Camp before you head out to catch the big one. -- Friendly People: Encountering other people does happen and when it does the encounter is most always a smile and a friendly hello. Any variation is usually from a city dwellers who lost their smile in the city and haven't been here long enough to find it again. -- Peaceful Surroundings: I find a peaceful feeling in Crowley that seems to permeate the area. All seasons seem to instil a feeling of inner peace and tranquility. -- Star Filled Night Skies: It is difficult to casually glance up at the night sky. It is much too captivating, I get lost almost every time! It is difficult to focus on a star, its just to pick a star, there are too many and they seem so close. It has a tendency to inspire a deeper level of thought. Where do they begin and where do they end? -- Spectacular Views: Meadows, Rivers, Streams, Waterfalls, Below the Mountains, In the Mountains, Over the mountains. -- Wildlife: Birds of all sorts, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Deer, Herds of Elk can be seen if you are looking for them South of Bishop on the 395. -- To be continued.....
